Approach

How I photograph a wedding

Three principles shape every wedding I take on, from the first coffee to the finished album. They're the reason couples trust me with the whole day — and the reason the pictures still feel like that morning a decade later.

Documentary, in natural light

I photograph the day as it truly happens — the nervous laugh before the vows, the tears in the front row, the last slow dance. Available light wherever it's possible, so nothing feels staged or over-lit. When a reception hall goes dark I'll add just enough to keep it honest, and no more.

Wherever you marry

City-hall vows, a garden ceremony, a mountaintop elopement, a hotel ballroom. We build the timeline around your day, not the other way round, and I travel to the places that mean something to you. Comfort is what separates a real photograph from a posed one.

Albums that arrive on time

A private online gallery lands within four weeks, with high-resolution downloads and a clear print license written in plain language. One photographer from first message to final files — no account managers, no hand-offs, no surprise upsells later.

Process

From first hello to finished album

No mystery, no surprises. Here's exactly how a wedding booking runs once you get in touch.

  1. 01

    Check your date

Send a short note through the booking form with your wedding date, the venue or city, and roughly how many hours you're imagining. I reply within two business days to confirm I'm free and share an honest, itemised quote. There's no obligation and no pressure at this stage.

  2. 02

    Plan the day together

Once your date is held with a small deposit, we build the timeline side by side: getting-ready windows, first look, ceremony light, family portraits, golden hour and the party. I'll flag the moments couples most often forget to leave time for, so the day feels calm rather than rushed.

  3. 03

    Your wedding day

I arrive early and photograph quietly, following the day rather than staging it. Expect gentle guidance for the portraits and family groups, then near-invisible coverage for everything else — the toasts, the tears, the dance floor. A second photographer joins for full-day and larger weddings.

  4. 04

    Gallery & album

Within four weeks you receive a private online gallery of fully edited, high-resolution images — yours to download, print and share under a clear license. A hand-designed fine-art album and additional prints are available whenever you're ready for them.

Kind words

What couples say

We still cry looking at our gallery. Nothing was posed to death — it was just our day, exactly as it felt, down to my grandmother laughing in the back row. We didn't even notice the camera.
Ji-woo & Haneul·Garden wedding, Seoul
We eloped on a cliff at sunrise with no guests, and somehow the photos hold the whole feeling of that morning. Calm, unhurried, and generous with time — worth every won.
Minseo & Junho·Elopement, Jeju
A full ten-hour day and we never once felt managed. The second photographer caught moments we didn't even know happened, and the album arrived earlier than promised.

Good to know

Frequently asked

Most couples book six to twelve months out, and popular spring and autumn Saturdays go first — so the sooner you reach out, the safer your date. That said, short-notice and mid-week weddings are always worth asking about; I keep a few flexible slots each season.
